The Grief Space Vermont
Companioning individuals and communities through grief
Our Vision
Grief is a natural part of the human experience. The Grief Space Vermont envisions communities where grief is accepted, explored, and understood as a time of transition for both the individual experiencing grief and those around them.
Our Mission
The mission of The Grief Space Vermont is to companion individuals and communities through all types and causes of grief by offering education, resources, facilitated peer support groups, community-held rituals and ceremonies, and opportunities for art and creative expression.
Our Offerings
We hold professional certificates in grief, bereavement, and end of life care as well as other certificates and advanced degrees. We offer non-clinical, community based programs, classes and events that honor the grief experience, create supportive places to process and explore grief and loss, and provide helpful tools and resources for navigating life after loss. Because we are not licensed mental health care providers, and cannot diagnose or provide treatment, we will lovingly provide referrals for anyone we feel would benefit from clinical care.

Grief is like the weather.
Natural, unpredictable, and cyclical.
