About the event
This series of workshops, led by Hettie Stearns, offers a compassionate space to explore grief through conversation and creative expression. Together we’ll gently engage with three different artistic approaches in a peer support style group. In our time together, we will utilize a method of collage art, a "stone flow" drawing technique, and create hand-sewn fabric talismans (a soft object to hold grief, memory, or transition). Each activity is beginner friendly.
These creative tools offer reflection, connection, and ways of processing the complicated emotions that come with grief.
All types and timelines of grief are welcome.
