The Long Dark

We are witnessing the destruction of our natural world, intense political violence and injustice, and disintegrating compassion and connectedness. This community grief ritual is a time to move down into the darkness and uncertainty of our pain, commune with our sorrow and anger, and remember that a people who can hold the depth of grief together also have a greater capacity for resilience together.

All members of the community, of all ages, are welcome. The ritual will be held entirely outside, with access to NBNC’s outdoor porta-potty. In case of rain, we will gather under one of the outdoor tents.  The event is free, with no registration required.
